1.\u00a0Accessibility<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Your content needs to be accessible, to that end one of the simplest things to do is to use the correct font size and style in your articles.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The suggestion from the Royal National Institute for the Blind is that it\u00a0recommends 14 pt.\u00a0Helvetica\u00a0or Ariel font<\/strong> (Tahoma and other font\u00a0styles are suggested too).\u00a0 The minimum font size is set at 12 pt, but this does not meet most of the visual needs of those with partial sight.\u00a0 \u00a0 Additionally, any images that are not logos or are not present for design reasons should have appropriate descriptive text in an alt tag (A special place on websites to help the visually impaired – usually a facility provided in any content management system to allow the addition of text).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Interest<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The best and most useful content is written well, but more importantly,\u00a0 it should grab your reader’s eyes and interest.<\/strong>\u00a0 This is obvious but content that is boring will not be read.\u00a0 \u00a0Nor will it encourage anyone to look at anything else you write.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Entertain When You Can<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

And of course, not all of what you write can entertain.\u00a0\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The golden rule if your text is not useful or interesting, write fun-filled content that excites and entertains.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4. Useful<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is important<\/strong> that any content\u00a0interests or entertains<\/strong>.\u00a0 But if it is not useful and does not relate to the reader’s needs<\/strong> he or she may not come back.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0To\u00a0avoid that<\/strong> you can create useful content<\/strong> such as tutorials and educational material.<\/strong>\u00a0 This technique is popular with readers and with search engines.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Research Well<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
